1-2 Call Drainage are on hand to prevent drainage disruption, to ensure the smooth running of Schools at all times, as it is critical that these sites maintain their drainage systems to ensure they are in good working order.

We understand we have to be flexible to the needs of the pupils and teaching staff on site and the need for minimal disruption, so we can arrange attendance to a time that suits.

Our drainage operatives are DBS checked, we are fully licensed and are available 24/7, 365 days a year.

Healthcare

1-2 Call Drainage understands the needs of ensuring drains are kept clear and running 24/7 in healthcare settings.

We come across a lot of blockages at the local hospital and care homes which puts pressure on the drainage system, which in these settings can be very complex, so we understand the urgency when we receive these calls.

We work closely with the maintenance teams to ensure minimal disruption to the patients, staff and visitors, and so often work out of hours when attending to blockages with drains, toilets, and scale in urinals.

Hospitality

At 1-2 Call Drainage we understand the importance of ensuring there is little to no disruption when it comes to hospitality venues. With the large amount of use in bathrooms, toilets etc., venues will be prone to drainage issues.

Some of the problems we encounter are sanitary products being placed in toilets instead of the sanitaryware bins provided or a build of toilet roll causing toilets to overflow.

Often, we can clear these blockages by using a high-pressure toilet air plunger

For more stubborn blockages, where more force is needed this is when we use our high-powered jets fed with water from our vans. Other issues are build-up of fats, oil and grease known as FOG, where these have been poured directly down drains and are one of the major issues within kitchens at venues.

Housing Associations

We work closely with a large housing association in Kings Lynn and together we aim to provide the best possible service in ensuring their tenants have minimal disruption when it comes to dealing with blocked drains, kitchen sinks, baths, toilets etc.

We work closely with the housing team providing reports on issues found and quotations for works needed to rectify issues with cracked pipes, damaged soakaways, blocked gullies, broken drain covers etc.

We aim to respond to all call outs within 2 hours, where possible, and will not leave a tenant until the problem is resolved or will advise what is needed for a return visit, always communicating to ensure they are kept up to date and not left in the dark.

Letting Agents

1-2 Call Drainage work closely with a large amount of letting agents within the Kings Lynn area. We thrive on ensuring that all tenants are kept running smoothly when it comes to dealing with blocked toilets and drains. The cause of many issues we come across in rented properties is quite often the inappropriate use of drains.

Unfortunately, we still come across products which should not be flushed down the toilets, such as:

• Baby wipes
• Sanitary products
• Waste food
• Fat, oils and grease (FOG)
• Coffee granules

We will also ensure that the tenants are advised and educated on what should and should not be put down the toilet.

For some blockages in drains the jet clears most, but wipes and roots can snag in the pipes, for these we use chains on the end of our jets to help grab the items snagged on the pipe as shown:

Local Authority

1-2 Call Drainage currently cover the drainage contract for the local authority. This can be from removing debris from shop buildings or cleaning out gutters and downpipes on factories to removing waste materials from in and around Kings Lynn which are no longer required and making sure areas are not hazardous to the public.

We also cover drainage works at other Council owned buildings in and around Kings Lynn to ensure the safe running on a day-to-day basis, ensuring minimal disruption to visitors and public.
